The week begins on a positive note, featuring sunshine and warm temperatures, but a shift is expected by Wednesday with cooler weather and rain. Therefore, there is good reason to enjoy the pleasant weather at the start of the week, as conditions will change rapidly.
According to Anja Bodholdt, the duty meteorologist at the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI), the beginning of the week looks stable, displaying plenty of sunshine and dry conditions with minimal winds coming from the west. On Monday, temperatures will range from 19 to 24 degrees Celsius (66 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit).
Tuesday and Wednesday also offer the chance for what are referred to as “meteorological summer days,” which occur when temperatures exceed 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit), as explained by Anja Bodholdt. However, Wednesday marks a weather transition, as a front bringing rain and showers will move in from the west. This change is expected to influence the rest of the week, leading to cooler temperatures, increased winds, and significant rainfall.
Anja Bodholdt notes that Friday is particularly anticipated to be wet and windy, with maximum temperatures on Thursday and Friday expected to be between 22 and 23 degrees Celsius (72 to 73 degrees Fahrenheit), where the weather will be at its best.
This weather trend seems likely to persist well into August, with periods of good weather, but without extended stretches of stable summer warmth.
