In the aftermath of a violent shooting incident in Kolding, the Southeast Jutland Police (Sydøstjyllands Politi) have intensified their investigation. Three individuals are currently charged with attempted murder, and the police are searching for a fourth suspect who remains at large.
The shooting occurred in Kolding last Wednesday and resulted in a man being shot in the leg. A 17-year-old suspect was arrested that evening and is now in custody. Additionally, a 37-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were also detained in connection with the case. However, despite their charges, the two adults were released as the court did not find sufficient grounds for their detention.
All three individuals are charged with attempted murder and possession of a loaded firearm in a public place. As part of their investigation, the police are also seeking a specific man they believe was involved in the incident. Authorities have identified this individual and are urging him to turn himself in.
Furthermore, police are requesting information about a black ladies’ bicycle, possibly an electric bike, equipped with a front basket. They urge anyone who may have seen the wanted man on the bicycle on Wednesday morning or noon to contact the police at phone number 114.
The investigation is ongoing, and the police hope that public assistance can help clarify the case.
