Shooting reported in Frederiksberg; police investigation underway

On Monday evening, police were heavily present at the intersection of Falkoner Allé and Christian Winthersvej in Frederiksberg, a suburb of Copenhagen, following reports of a shooting. According to an update from the Copenhagen Police (Københavns Politi) on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), one individual has been shot and transported to a hospital for treatment.

The police have not disclosed any information regarding the victim’s condition or whether any arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Falkoner Allé has been closed off between Howitzvej and Nyelandsvej, and public transport options, including the Frederiksberg Metro station, are temporarily out of service. It remains unclear how long the closure will last.
