Police have charged three individuals in connection with the mysterious disappearance of Jimmi Lillelund, who is now believed to have been murdered, burned, and buried. Jimmi Lillelund went missing around April 30, 2020, from his home near Gundsømagle, a locality close to Roskilde, Denmark. The charges announced over the weekend suggest a grim fate for him.
The accused individuals include a 48-year-old woman and two men aged 60 and 27. A judge has ordered that their names be withheld to protect their identities. All three are charged with jointly or in agreement having murdered Jimmi Lillelund and then improperly handling his body by disposing of it through cremation and subsequent burial at his residence.
Despite the serious nature of the charges, details regarding the execution of the murder have not been disclosed. Jimmi Lillelund was reported missing by his family two days after his disappearance when his vehicle was found abandoned in a community garden without any sign of him.
During the weekend court hearing, which was held behind closed doors, all three defendants maintained their innocence. They are currently in custody until August 29, while the police continue their investigation into this tragic case.
