Blegdamsvej in Copenhagen is currently closed to traffic in both directions between Tagensvej and Trianglen. According to information from P4 Traffic, shared on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), the closure is due to a fire in an apartment building. The Capital Region’s Emergency Services (Hovedstadens Beredskab) have confirmed the incident on X and indicated that they received a report regarding the apartment fire, which showed heavy smoke through video streaming from the emergency call.

Emergency services arrived quickly on the scene and have already extinguished the fire with the assistance of firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus. There have been no reports of injuries. Photos from the area show that an ambulance is also present.
