On Thursday afternoon, the East Jutland Police (Ăstjyllands Politi) responded to a fire at a villa located on Terp Skovvej in HĂžjbjerg, Denmark. The fire department was called to the scene immediately. The police issued a warning on social media stating that the building was fully engulfed in flames, but fortunately, all individuals involved were able to escape safely.
As a precaution, authorities are advising the public to stay clear of the area, as several emergency response vehicles are en route. Due to the intensity of the fire, officials have decided to allow the house to burn down in a controlled manner, as a rescue operation is no longer feasible.
Additionally, the smoke plume from the fire has raised concerns as it is moving towards the southeast. Local residents are urged to close all doors, windows, and ventilation systems to avoid inhaling toxic smoke. The East Jutland Police have also closed off Terp Skovvej to secure the area around the fire.
