Following a shooting that cost the life of a 43-year-old man in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, the police have received a significant number of inquiries. In the wake of a series of violent incidents in the city involving young Swedish assailants, the Copenhagen Police have received assistance from neighboring police districts. Vice Police Inspector Lasse Michelsen from the Copenhagen Police stated that officers from other districts have been helping with searches in three selected areas.
“We have a massive presence and have conducted a large number of searches,” Michelsen explained. However, as of Saturday morning, he could not confirm whether these searches had led to any specific findings.
Recently, a 43-year-old man lost his life on Hans Tavsens Gade, where he was shot Thursday afternoon by a young man who subsequently fled the scene on a bicycle. A passerby woman was also injured, but it remains unclear how serious her injuries are. Michelsen mentioned that the police have received numerous inquiries about the case and are actively following these leads.
So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, which several media outlets have reported may be linked to the gang Loyal To Familia, where the deceased has been described as a veteran member.
