The prosecution maintains that all four defendants should be convicted of murder, despite only one of them allegedly firing shots that resulted in the death of a 30-year-old man in Christiania, a neighborhood in Copenhagen, last year. Prosecutor Alexander Scheel emphasizes that the execution was meticulously planned as part of an ongoing conflict between the gang Loyal To Familia (LTF) and the Hells Angels (HA). The victim, who had ties to the Hells Angels, suffered from 22 gunshot wounds and collapsed immediately, killed by shots fired from no fewer than three different weapons.
Although the prosecution believes that only one of the four defendants fired a weapon, the others are accused of being complicit in the murder by providing logistical support, such as supplying prepaid mobile phone cards and electric bicycles, and subsequently picking up the alleged perpetrators. After the killing, the assailants were observed fleeing on electric bicycles, which were later found abandoned nearby, along with attempts to destroy clothing and weapons in a garbage bin.
The prosecutor has presented evidence, including telecommunications data, video surveillance, and DNA, which allegedly ties the four defendants to the murder. In addition to the murder charge, the men are also charged with four counts of attempted murder, possession of firearms, and for maintaining the forbidden gang LTF. All four have pleaded not guilty to all charges. The Copenhagen District Court (Københavns Byret) is expected to issue a verdict in November.
