Fire Breaks Out at Aalborg Swimming Hall, Emergency Services Respond

On Tuesday morning, an alarm was raised about a fire at the swimming pool on Østre Allé in Aalborg, leading the North Jutland Emergency Services (Nordjyllands Beredskab) to respond. A detailed report about the fire was shared on the social media platform X, where the emergency services indicated that it was a roof fire.

North Jutland Police (Nordjyllands Politi) are also present at the scene and have issued a public advisory to residents in the nearby area around Samsøgade. They urged people to stay indoors, close doors and windows, and turn off ventilation systems to avoid smoke and potential toxic exposure.

The emergency services arrived on site with a commander, an incident manager, and five emergency vehicles. Additionally, the team from Nibe was called in to assist, while personnel from Brønderslev remained on standby to handle any other potential emergencies. The first report of the fire was received at 08:23 AM.
