Two Injured in Serious Traffic Accident in Denmark

Two individuals were injured in a serious traffic accident on Næstvedvej near Vetterslev on Monday afternoon. A 50-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man were both rushed to the hospital following the head-on collision. One of the victims was airlifted to Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital) by helicopter, while the other was transported by ambulance.

According to duty officer Henrik Olesen from the Midt- og Vestsjællands Politi (Mid and West Zealand Police), both victims are now out of danger, although they are still being closely monitored for potential complications. The accident resulted in an immediate road closure, and traffic was diverted as a car accident investigator examined the scene to determine the cause of the collision.
