A man was arrested by the Copenhagen Police (Københavns Politi) on Tuesday evening in connection with an incident in Tingbjerg, near the Utterslev Mose, which translates to Utterslev Marsh. This arrest followed reports of suspicious activity in the area.
The individual, who was photographed wearing a light blue DNA suit—a type of protective clothing often used by forensic teams—was escorted to a police car by officers on the scene. The police’s explosives disposal unit, known as EOD, was also called to the site and was present that evening.
According to sources, the arrested man is facing charges for possession of weapons and explosive materials. The case will now proceed to a preliminary hearing, commonly referred to as a grundlovsforhør, at the Frederiksberg Court (Retten på Frederiksberg), where the police will seek to have the individual placed in pre-trial detention.
