The South and South Jutland Police (Syd- og Sønderjyllands Politi) issued a request for help early Friday morning in locating a 21-year-old woman who left her home around 2 a.m. on Friday in a distressed state of mind. Authorities report that her vehicle was later discovered in downtown Esbjerg, and it is believed she may still be in the area.
In a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the police included a photo of the woman and appealed to the public for assistance. According to the police, it was the woman’s family who alerted law enforcement when they realized she was missing. The report was made at 4 a.m., and since then, the police have been actively searching for her in the center of Esbjerg.
The missing woman is described as approximately 170 centimeters (5 feet 7 inches) tall, with a slender build and medium-length brown hair. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact them at phone number 114.
The situation will remain updated as new information becomes available.
