Tragic Incident in Copenhagen: Woman Found Dead in Svanemølle Bay

A tragic incident occurred early Saturday morning when a woman was found lifeless in the water at Svanemølle Bay in Copenhagen. The 57-year-old woman was quickly rescued from the water and transported to Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital), but unfortunately, her life could not be saved. Copenhagen Police later announced that the woman had been declared dead.

Initial information from the police indicated that the woman was in critical condition before being taken to the hospital. Despite the rapid response, they were unable to save her life. The woman, who was fully dressed, was discovered by a group of morning bathers in the bathing area near Svaneknoppen, a popular spot for local swimmers. The police were notified at 5:54 AM.

An investigation is currently underway as police attempt to piece together the sequence of events. Preliminary investigations suggest that there is no indication of foul play. Duty Officer Dyre Sønnicksen has encouraged any potential witnesses to come forward. “If anyone saw her during the evening and night, we would like to receive information at phone number 114,” stated Sønnicksen. However, the police have not yet been able to provide a description of the woman.

The woman’s relatives have been informed of her passing, which has shocked the local community. The police are now working to determine exactly what happened on that early morning at Svanemølle Bay.
