A traffic accident in Resdal Bakke, Silkeborg, involved two vehicles, with a van failing to yield the right of way and colliding with a passenger car. Following the impact, the passenger car was propelled into a field and ended up overturning. According to duty officer Andreas Andersen from the Mid and West Jutland Police (Midt- og Vestjyllands Politi), the accident occurred at 4:19 PM local time.
The passenger car was carrying a family consisting of two parents, one child, and a grandparent. Three individuals from the car sustained minor injuries, with one person suffering a broken arm. Three ambulances were dispatched to the scene promptly due to initial concerns about a potentially trapped individual.
The driver of the van will be charged with failing to yield the right of way. Clean-up operations at the site have been completed, and the road is now fully accessible.
