On Thursday afternoon, four girls were injured when the roof of a recreational building for youths in Viborg collapsed. The incident occurred at Game Streetmekka, located on Nellikevej, at approximately 1 PM. According to the Central and West Jutland Police (Midt- og Vestjyllands Politi), one of the girls sustained a head laceration. At the time of the incident, around 90 students from a local school were visiting the facility, which saw approximately 200 square meters of the roof suddenly cave in above the dance hall.
Thomas Gissel, the director of Game Streetmekka, described the event as unimaginable and emphasized the need to determine the cause of the accident. The facility has been closed temporarily as investigations are conducted.
