A 43-year-old man from Northern Jutland, Denmark, has been sentenced to 13 years in prison by the Hjørring Court for extensive drug trafficking. The man, who used the alias “Mortal Demon” on an encrypted communication platform, managed large quantities of hashish, amphetamines, and cocaine between April 2020 and December of last year.
During police operations in Frederikshavn, significant amounts of drugs were discovered, including hashish, skunk (a potent form of cannabis), amphetamines, and THC oil, as well as untaxed cigarettes. The total tax debt associated with these goods amounts to 474,517 Danish kroner (approximately $68,000), according to the National Unit for Special Crime (NSK).
The convicted individual, previously known as Jonas Tversted and now identified as Lurifax Jacobsen, managed a bar called “Sportsbaren” in Frederikshavn. However, during a court hearing, Jacobsen denied that hashish was sold at the bar, stating that drug trafficking took place solely in his free time.
The case has shed light on how drug trafficking has been an integral part of Jacobsen’s life, and the sentence reflects the severity of his actions.
