A 29-year-old man has been sentenced for identity theft and stalking against his former girlfriend. Despite having served a prison sentence at Kragskovhede Prison, he created two sex advertisements in his ex-girlfriend’s name in April and May of last year.
The Aalborg Court sentenced him on Monday to five months of unconditional imprisonment for these crimes, along with gaining unauthorized access to the woman’s email account. The man was found guilty of all four charges brought against him.
Notably, on April 30, he posted a sex ad titled “Your Cheap and Willing Hooker in Bramming,” which included his ex-girlfriend’s phone number and Snapchat username. Just one day later, another ad appeared under the headline “Sweet and Lovely Milf Open 24/7,” also featuring her details.
These actions took place while he was already serving a sentence for violence against the woman. As a result of the advertisements, she received at least 117 calls from unfamiliar men seeking to purchase sex. Additionally, he was found guilty of stalking, having called her 30 times between May 1 and May 4 of last year.
The situation is further complicated by the fact that the couple shares two children and is currently involved in an ongoing custody battle. Around May 3, he gained access to the woman’s email account, where he read a letter from her lawyer regarding custody matters.
The man has appealed the conviction, seeking acquittal on the spot.
