A 26-year-old man is currently facing serious charges of child abuse at the Court in Holbæk, Denmark. The prosecution alleges that he used Snapchat to contact several hundred children, offering money or gifts in exchange for sexual images and encounters. Among the specific accusations is that he reached out to a 13-year-old girl, expressing a particular interest in girls her age. In 2023, he reportedly attempted to arrange a meeting with an 11-year-old girl in a public restroom for sexual purposes. The young girl arrived but left the location before the meeting occurred.
This man has a prior conviction from the Eastern High Court (Østre Landsret) in 2020, where he was prohibited from contacting children under the age of 18 whom he did not already know. Despite this ruling, prosecutors claim he continued his activities. In several instances, he allegedly coerced young girls into sending sexual images, which he then used for blackmail by threatening to share them with their parents or online if they refused to send more pictures or cut off communication.
Additionally, the man is charged with having raped a young visually impaired girl three times. According to the prosecution, he pressured her into meeting him and then forced her into sexual acts against her will.
It remains unclear how the man will respond to the charges or whether he denies guilt on all counts.
