A significant fire erupted at a farm in Jelling, Denmark, during the early hours of Tuesday, causing substantial damage. “The farm was completely engulfed in flames upon our arrival,” reported on-duty chief Halfdan Kramer from the Southeast Jutland Police (Sydøstjyllands Politi). The fire broke out at a property located on Vindelevvej, with police and rescue services receiving the emergency call exactly at 12:59 AM.
According to the police chief, two of the structures on the property were completely destroyed. Fortunately, the farm was under renovation at the time, which meant that no injuries were reported. “We are still working on putting out the remaining flames. Afterward, we will begin investigating the cause of the fire,” said Kramer.
Fortunately, the fire department managed to prevent the flames from spreading to surrounding buildings.
