A male educator has been remanded in custody for four weeks following allegations of raping a minor girl for whom he was responsible as a contact person. The remand was ordered by the Copenhagen City Court during a preliminary hearing.

According to the police charge, the educator allegedly raped the girl in a car, where he reportedly forced her into the back seat, removed her pants, and restrained her during the assault. Subsequently, he purchased emergency contraception for her at a pharmacy and instructed her to take it while he watched.

The accused man, who is in his late twenties, denies the allegations, which include three counts of rape and threats against witnesses. In addition to the alleged assault in the car, he is also accused of two other rapes against the same girl. These incidents are said to have taken place in a disabled restroom in a shopping center and in a parking lot in Copenhagen.

Furthermore, the educator is accused of repeatedly threatening the girl and her close associates, allegedly to prevent them from reporting the rapes. He reportedly threatened retaliation if the girl told anyone about the assaults and claimed to have connections to a gang.

The hearing at the Copenhagen City Court was held behind closed doors, thus excluding the press and the public from the proceedings. As a result, the educator will spend the next four weeks in custody while the investigation continues.
