Concerns are rising among residents in the Viby Sjælland area, where several individuals have reported unsettling nocturnal incidents. In the past 24 hours, numerous accounts have emerged in local Facebook groups detailing a man who is trespassing unlawfully into people’s homes. Although he flees when discovered, he does not steal anything, which leaves many in the community feeling unsafe.

The police have confirmed that they have received around ten reports regarding these incidents. “We have increased our patrols in the area at night using unmarked vehicles, but we have not yet apprehended the man,” the police stated.

This wave of intrusions follows closely after the police received five similar reports in Gadstrup, which is located about six kilometers from Viby Sjælland. In some instances, the man has attempted to break in, while in others, he has successfully entered the premises. The police have not yet been able to identify the man or any potential accomplices and cannot confirm whether the same perpetrator is involved in both series of events.

“We do not know what the man’s motives are, and we are working diligently to ascertain that,” the police announced. They are now reviewing available surveillance footage to track the man. In the meantime, the police urge citizens to properly secure their homes at night and to remain extra vigilant.
