Denmark woke up to a significant change in the weather following a night marked by a strong cold front. After a warm Thursday, which was the hottest day of the year so far, Friday is considerably cooler. The cold front has brought clouds and showers, and cooler air has spread across the country after its passage. The day will present a mix of sun and clouds, with possible local showers, particularly in parts of North Jutland, Central Jutland, and Bornholm, an island located in the Baltic Sea. According to the Danish Meteorological Institute (Danmarks Meteorologiske Institut – DMI), temperatures are expected to range between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius.
Friday’s weather forecast will also influence the weekend. Saturday is expected to have similar temperatures, but the weather will be more stable and sunny, devoid of showers. Winds are anticipated to be light to moderate, mainly coming from the northwest and north. Sunday will continue the trend of dry and sunny weather, although there may be periods when the sun could be obscured by high, thin clouds. Temperatures will again remain between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius, with the wind shifting to come from the east and northeast.
