The Southern and South Jutland Police (Syd- og Sønderjyllands Politi) have announced that the search for nine-year-old Ricco has been called off, as he has been found safe. The police express their gratitude to the public for their assistance in the search.
On Saturday evening, the police issued a public appeal for information regarding Ricco, who was last seen on Willemoesgade in Esbjerg at 3:30 PM. They urged everyone to remain vigilant and to contact them with any information about his whereabouts.
Ricco is described as a boy measuring 135 centimeters (approximately 4 feet 5 inches), with an average build and short brown hair. He has a distinctive scar on his chin. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a white and blue football jersey featuring the name “Ronaldo” and the number seven on the back. He also wore military-style pants in light gray, black, and dark gray with orange pockets, along with black sandals that have green accents.
The police are now thanking the public for the significant help they provided, which was crucial in reuniting Ricco with his family.
