Serious accident at cycling race in North Jutland leaves participant injured.

The North Jutland Police (Nordjyllands Politi) announced on the social media platform X that a male participant in his 60s was seriously injured after a fall near the town of Nibe. The injured individual is currently receiving treatment at a hospital, and his immediate family has been informed about the situation.

The accident took place during the UCI Gran Fondo World Championship, a prestigious cycling event that attracts amateur cyclists from around the world. As of now, the police have not released further details regarding the injured cyclist’s exact medical condition. However, it has been reported that the man’s condition is stable.
