The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has now issued a warning against all travels to Israel due to an increasing risk of escalation in hostilities between the Lebanese Hizbollah movement and Israel. In a recently updated travel advisory, it is emphasized that all travel to the area is discouraged. Previously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ citizen service had only advised against non-essential travel, but this assessment has now been sharpened. The conflict between Hizbollah and Israel has intensified as a result of the current war in Gaza. Most recently, on Thursday, Hizbollah announced that they have fired over 200 rockets and drones with explosives towards several military targets in Israel.
