Danish Rapper Branco Announces Retirement from Music Career

The popular Danish rapper Branco, known for hits such as “London Town” and “All In”, has announced that he will be ending his music career. The news was revealed through an emotional video on his Instagram profile, where he shared his thoughts on the decision and his future plans. In the video, Branco explained that everything has an end, and the time has come for him to close this chapter in his life. “As you know, everything comes to an end. Nothing lasts forever. We all have an expiration date, and none of this we can take with us when we say goodbye one day. So I’m stopping here,” he said.

Despite bidding farewell to the music scene, Branco reassured his fans that he will not disappear from the public eye. He plans to continue influencing and inspiring in other ways. “On the contrary. I will step forward and make new footprints that others can follow, but it won’t be through music,” he added. As a final tribute to his fans and music career, Branco will release his final album “Baba Business 3” on May 24. The album marks the end of an era for the rapper, who first made his mark on the Danish rap scene about ten years ago as part of the duo MellemFingaMuzik.

In addition to his music career, Branco has also made a name for himself on television, most recently appearing on the show “Over The Atlantic” on Kanal 5 and discovery+ in 2024. Branco, whose real name is Benjamin Cimatu, leaves a lasting impact on the Danish music scene with his unique style and influential lyrics.
